DUNDAS, Minn. - The host Dukes (14-5) managed only three hits, but escaped with a 2-0 win over the Hopkins Berries on Wednesday night at Memorial Park.
Matt Neuger went 6 1/3 inning, scattering four hits to pick up his fifth win of the year.
Todd Mathison picked up the save with six strikeouts, including the last five hitters, in the remaining 2 2/3.
Brandon Agneberg took the hard-luck loss for the Berries. Agneberg struck out nine and allowed no earned runs in the three-hit effort. Dundas tallied its run in the first on a throwing error and scored in ninth after a two-out catcher's interference. Dundas hosts the Minneapolis Angels on Friday before playing a CCVL contest at Red Wing on Sunday.
