Meyers leads Cannon Falls over Dukes
CANNON FALLS, Minn. - Keith Meyers hurled a three-hit shutout to lead host Cannon Falls to a 3-0 win over Dundas in a Classic Cannon Valley League game on Sunday afternoon. The loss snapped the Dukes' three-game winning streak and offset a solid outing from Dundas starter Tony LePage. LePage threw all eight innings, scattering seven hits while allowing a lone earned run. Carson Jones had two of the Dukes' three hits, going 2-for-4. Matt Klein went 2-for-4 with an RBI double for the Bears (4-1 CCVL), who scored all of three of their runs in the first inning. Dundas (4-2, 2-2 CCVL) hosts Northfield tomorrow at 2 p.m.
