Dukes beat Cards 11-1 in season opener
DUNDAS, Minn. - Jeff Deuth threw six scoreless innings to lead Dundas to a season opening 11-1 win over Hampton on Sunday afternoon.
Deuth walked none, struck out four and scattered four hits in the win.
The Dukes offense, led by Steve Loos' 4-for-5 and Rich Borads' 3-for-5 efforts, had 17 hits.
Dundas hosts Red Wing next Sunday at 6 p.m.

Aces use timely hitting to drop Dukes
DUNDAS, Minn. - Corey Tauer went 3-for-4 with three RBI to help Red Wing defeat Dundas 4-1 in Classic Cannon Valley action on Sunday night.
Tauer's two-out, two-run double in the sixth gave the visiting Aces their three-run lead.
Dundas, which was held to five hits by Red Wing starter Andy Gibert and reliever Brett Gadient, scored its only run on a Steve Loos double and Mike Ludwig sacrifice fly in the second.
Steve Boldt added a two-hit day for Red Wing in the win.
