Bordas, Dukes make it six straight in run-rule win over Greyhounds
JUNE 21, 2010 - DUNDAS, Minn. - Rich Bordas went 3-for-4 with a double and four RBIs as Dundas defeated the Austin Greyhounds 13-3 on Monday night at Memorial Park.
The win was the Dukes' sixth in a row and ninth in their last 10. Dundas, which fell behind 1-0 and 3-2, used a five-run third inning to distance themselves from the visiting Greyhounds.
Carson Jones added a 3-for-5 night while Josh Maus and Pat Wadzinski each went 2-for-3 for Dundas, which had 16 hits in the win.
Matt Neuger tossed four innings of relief, striking out eight and allowing just one hit to get his third win (3-0) of the year. Starter Ed Hagberg allowed two earned runs in his three innings of work.
Dundas is now 16-0 when holding its opponents to five runs or less and 8-1 when scoring more than six runs.
The Dukes (18-6, 3-4) host the Lyon's Pub Warriors on Wednesday night at 7:30 p.m.
