AS A DUKE
Is in second season with Dukes in 2011.

2010 - Was All-State Tournament team selection, helping the Dukes to a runner up finish... Went 5-0 with a 1.09 ERA in postseason... In 41 1/3 postseason innings, allowed 20 hits and five walks while striking out 40... For season, was 15-2 with 1.22 ERA... Struck out 135 in 132 2/3 innings against just 17 walks... Opponents hit a mere .169... Had 15 starts, completing seven with four shutouts... Took a no-hitter into the ninth inning in a 3-0 win over Hastings in Section 1B championship game - striking out 13 in the 1-hit shutout... One-hitter was second of back-to-back shutouts in Section 1B playoffs... Did not allow a run in first four appearances... Had at least 10 strikeouts four times... Allowed more than two earned runs only three times... Tossed complete game victory in the first game of the State Championship Series against Shakopee to force a second game on Sept. 6... Is the St. Paul Saints' all-time leader in wins (40), strikeouts (318) and innings (504.2)... In four-plus professional seasons, went 41-18 with a 3.78 ERA... Had at least eight wins in each of four full American Association seasons and was in double-digits twice (2007 and 2008)... Had 10 complete games in career including three shutouts.

2009 (St. Paul Saints - American Association) - Went 8-4 with a 3.69 ERA in 20 appearances... Drew 19 starts... His eight wins matched a team lead and his 107.1 innings ranked second... Threw one complete game shutout.

2008 (St. Paul Saints - American Association) - Compiled a career-best 12-4 record... Was an American Association All-Star... (Atlantic City - CanAm League) - Pitched three times for Atlantic City on loan from Saints... Went 1-1 in three starts.

2007 (St. Paul Saints - American Association) - Went 11-3 with career-bests in innings (138.2), strikeouts (110), walks (23) and ERA (3.63)...

2006 (St. Paul Saints - American Association) - Went 8-6 with a 3.75 ERA... Was tops on the team in innings (132.0) and had 96 strikeouts.

2005 (St. Paul Saints - Northern League) - Made an emergency start for the club and earned a complete game win and a spot on the roster for the remaining of the season.

AMATEUR
Played for the Class A Richfield Ramblers of the Riverview League from 2002-2005... Played for Class C Cannon Falls in 2001.

AT ST. OLAF COLLEGE
2004 - Was All-MIAC... Went 5-3 with a 2.62 ERA... Had career-high 72 strikeouts and seven complete games in 68.2 innings.

2003 - Was All-MIAC... Went 7-3 with a 1.97 ERA... Held hitters to a .226 average while walking only 16 against 64 strikeouts... Had team-highs in appearances (15), starts (11), complete games (6) and saves (2).

2002 - Was the MIAC's Pitcher of the Year after posting a 0.72 ERA in league games... Went 7-2 with a 1.23 ERA overall with team-highs in innings (65.2), strikeouts (66), saves (2), complete games (6) and opponents batting average (.213)... Allowed only nine earned runs on nine walks and no homers.

2001 - Was All-MIAC... Had 0.60 ERA in six league starts, which included two shutouts.

Was a part of three Hiawatha Valley League championship teams.


PERSONAL
Resides in Northfield with wife Becky and daughters Lucy and Hattie... Is an associate pastor at Bethel Lutheran Church in Northfield... Is a 2004 graduate of St. Olaf and a 2009 grad of Luther Seminary in St. Paul.
