AS A DUKE
Is in seventh season with Dukes in 2011... Was a part of 2005 state tournament team's fourth place finish and a runner-up showings in 2008 and 2010.
2010 - Had team highs in at bats (244), hits (86), RBIs (60), doubles (20) and total bases (117) and was third in hitting (.352)... Had 28 multi-hit games, including two five-game streaks (May 12-23, June 11-21) and a six-game streak (June 27-July 11)... In six-game multi-hit streak, went a combined 20-for-32 (.625)... Opened season on 10-game hitting streak... Shared lead for RBIs in CCVL games with 17 in 13 games... Hit .386 in league play, which ranked 12th... Had eight three-hit games and two four-hit efforts... Was 3-for-5 with a homer, double and four RBIs in win at Owatonna on May 26... Was 3-for-6 two days later with a triple and three RBIs in victory over Highland Park... Was 4-for-5 in league win at Red Wing on July 3... Was 3-for-5 with two doubles, two RBIs while throwing a complete game victory, scattering nine hits over nine innings for one earned run in win at Jordan on July 10... Drew only one walk in 256 plate appearances... Had only 11 strikeouts... On the mound, went 3-0 with a 1.35 ERA in 20.0 innings... 2003 - Was 37th round (1,111th pick overall) draft pick of Los Angeles Dodgers... Played in 34 games for the Ogden Raptors (R-Adv.), hitting .269 in 110 plate appearances.
2004 - Spent 2004 season with GCL Dodgers (R)... Went 4-for-32 in 34 plate appearances.
AMATEUR
Started his amateur career in 2000 with Class C St. Francis... Played one season in Class B Blaine (2001) and another with the Class A Richfield Ramblers (2002)... Joined Dukes in 2005.
AT ST. OLAF COLLEGE
Was a part of four MIAC championship teams - three regular season (2000, 2001, 2002) and one playoff title (2003)... Was a first team All-Midwest Region selection and All-MIAC pick as a senior... Was a career .339 hitter... Hit .369 (54-for-147) with 15 doubles, four homers and 31 RBIs in final season... Had no errors in 317 chances as a senior... As a junior, led MIAC in homers and was in the top five in RBIs, hits, runs and doubles... Was a four-time team MVP and three-time All-MIAC basketball player... Ranks second in school history in career points (1,635).
